Stamp All The Gifts Day 3/DIY Cotton Flannel Cozy Scarf!

Welcome to Day 3 of the “Stamp All The Gifts” series! We promised something cozy and we think this is just perfect to cuddle up in. Who wouldn’t be proud to wear her very own custom made scarf toting her beloved nick name or perhaps monogram initials?

Aren’t they darling? And so cozy too! If you have someone special you’d like to give the gift of cozy to, then watch this video to see how!

Tips for making your own cozy scarf with IOD Decor Stamps.

Use 100% cotton flannel.
Optionally, you can try using fabric mediums that are additives for paint.
After you stamp your fabric, it will feel a little crunchy. After it is washed, that softens up.
Chalk type paints vary, so talk to your stockist and get their opinion on the brand you plan to use, and it never hurts to do a test piece ahead of time.
When stamping fabric, be very generous with your paint, so it can really penetrate the fibers.
Don’t worry about the impression being perfect.
Sometimes you can find great bargains on cotton flannel sheet sets at department stores! Make sure it’s high quality flannel.
